We are now looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen brigade and drive the continued success of one of Ayrshire’s most popular venues.

The Works
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a passionate kitchen team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. You will bring creativity, consistency, and a hands-on approach to deliver exceptional Mediterranean-inspired food, while ensuring the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.

You will:
• Oversee all kitchen operations with energy and precision
• Drive food quality, presentation, and consistency across every service
• Lead menu development in collaboration with the senior team
• Coach, mentor and inspire your chefs to deliver excellence
• Manage kitchen profitability through strong GP and stock control
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
• Foster a positive team culture where people can grow and thrive

What We’re Looking For
• An experienced and passionate Head Chef (or senior Sous ready to step up)
• Strong background in high-quality, high-volume kitchens
• Creative flair and a passion for Mediterranean flavours
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a brigade
• Highly organised and commercially aware
• Calm under pressure, positive in approach, and standards-driven
