IT & EPOS Systems Analyst

At Buzzworks, we are all about making people feel good,  whether that’s in our venues or behind the scenes in our support team.
We’re looking for a tech-savvy problem solver to join our IT crew, someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
If you’re just as comfortable on the tools as you are in a support role, this could be the perfect mix.

The Buzz

  • Full training and ongoing development
  • A supportive and people-first team culture
  • 40% staff discount across all Buzzworks venues
  • Career progression opportunities within our growing company
  • Additional holidays for long service at 1, 3 & 5 years
  • Wellbeing support – Employee Assistance Programme, wellness hub & discounted gym membership

The Works

This role blends frontline IT support with EPOS systems management across our venues, all from our Kilmarnock base.
You’ll help keep our tech ticking, configuring POS hardware and software, supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, and ensuring our venues stay connected and service-ready.

What You’ll Do

IT Infrastructure & Support

  • Provide day-to-day support across Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Manage user accounts and devices via Active Directory & Entra ID
  • Use RMM tools to monitor systems, escalating issues when needed
  • Maintain IT documentation and compliance tasks
  • Keep our asset list accurate and up to date

EPOS Systems Management

  • Configure and maintain EPOS systems across our venues
  • Support menu programming, upgrades, and new venue launches
  • Handle reporting and ensure data integrity across EPOS and inventory
  • Work with operations and procurement to align EPOS with stock systems

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in a frontline IT support role, ideally in hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID & Group Policy
  • Confident with Microsoft 365 admin (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with RMM tools and software patching
  • Exposure to Hyper-V and Windows Server (2016 onward)
  • Comfortable supporting multi-site environments — a bit of travel included
  • A self-starter who can work solo or as part of a buzzing team

Experience with EPOS systems in hospitality, retail, or events is a big plus — but if you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll provide the training.

Buzzworks is an equal opportunity employer. We believe a diverse, empowered team is key to achieving our mission:
To make people feel great through hospitality.
