Maintenance Person

Buzzworks is a growing hospitality group with a diverse estate of restaurants, bars and we are now diversifying and adding rooms. We are now looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Person (Electrical or Joinery Bias) to support our venues and related properties across the business.

The Works

As a Maintenance Person, you will take a proactive, hands-on role in ensuring all Buzzworks venues and properties are maintained to a high, safe and compliant standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to plan and prioritise weekly maintenance tasks
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple venues and properties
  • Work closely with General Managers and venue teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly and professionally within venues
  • Diagnose faults, investigate issues and implement effective solutions using initiative and technical knowledge
  • Support morning maintenance duties and routine site checks as required
  • Assist with project and refurbishment works across the estate
  • Work alongside external contractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to agreed standards
  • Assist with outdoor functions and events where maintenance support is required
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in all work area
  •  Keep clear and accurate records of maintenance tasks and updates
  • Comply fully with all Health & Safety procedures, company policies and compliance requirements at all times
  • Support the wider maintenance team and assist colleagues as needed
  • Assist with secure operational tasks between venues and Head Office when required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a maintenance or multi-skilled trade role
• Recognised UK Electrical qualification (or strong electrical bias experience)
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Flexible approach to working hours, including regular weekend working
• Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel regularly between sites)
• Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude with a hands-on approach

Great if you have:

• Joinery experience (first or second fix)
• Experience working in a multi-site or hospitality environment
• Experience coordinating or working alongside external contractors
