We’re now looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team — an ideal opportunity for a first-time Head Chef or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to step up into their first leadership role.

The Role

As Head Chef at The Bridge Inn, you’ll take the lead in a busy, fresh-food kitchen where quality, consistency and teamwork are key. This is a hands-on role suited to someone ready to take the next step — balancing leadership with learning and development.

You’ll be supported as you grow into the position, building confidence in both the creative and commercial sides of running a kitchen.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations with energy and organisation
  • Deliver consistently high-quality dishes with strong presentation
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials and creativity
  • Train, mentor and inspire your team, creating a positive kitchen culture
  • Manage stock, GP and labour with guidance and support
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and compliance
  • Work closely with the front-of-house and management teams
